The Productivity and efficiency of factory processes determine the competitiveness and quality of our products. Our philosophy is to invest in the most complete and modern factory processes in all business units, and it has been perpetuated along the decades.
Among all the main transformation processes included, you can find film extrusion, which is made in state-of-the-art extruders, being either mono-extrusion or multiple layers co-extrusion. They are equipped with thin-thickness fittings, special cooling accessories for high output, fine control of winding tension, accurate resin filling with automatic dosers, besides programming of recipes and condition processing. The Equipment has modern network access systems for on-line KPIs monitoring.
Similarly, the printing processes include flexography and rotogravure state-of-the-art technologies. The same happens with in-line and off-line film laminators printing presses, tri-laminators, raffling machines, raffia extrusion lines, raffia looms, extrusion laminators and different finishing equipment: polyethylene cutting & sealing, Polyethylene and raffia valve machines, wicket bags machines, pouch and stand up pouch machines, laminating and non-laminating film cutter machines and others.
To guarantee competitiveness, differentiation and control of its main production processes, Zaraplast also has, in its own structure, the auxiliary manufacturing processes:
a) Paint factories;
b) Cylinder engraving plant for rotogravure, which has all the electroplating process, including several cylinder recorders of very high precision;
c) Preparation Centers for stereoplates for flexography, which has laser recorders able to attend flexographic prints in high definition;
d) Preparation of digital proof;
e) Experienced team and state-of-the-art equipment for graphic pre-press, able to meet several market demands.
